Transferring ownership or deleting a studio
Hand the studio over to someone on your team or close it, with the option to undo for 30 days.
The Settings → Closing the studio section is visible to the studio owner and to a person who has received an offer to take over the studio.
Transferring ownership
If the studio should carry on under another person on your team:
- Choose the person from the list of studio members (they must already be on the team and not be suspended).
- Optionally add a message.
- Click “Send offer”.
This is an offer valid for 7 days, not an immediate change. Until the other person accepts it, you are the owner and can withdraw it with the “Withdraw” button. The recipient sees the offer in the same section of their panel, with the “Take over the studio” and “Decline” buttons. After the takeover, the previous owner stays on the team as an administrator.

Deleting a studio
“Delete studio” works differently depending on whether the studio has data:
- an empty studio (no sessions, galleries, contracts, payments or clients) disappears immediately,
- a studio with data enters a closing state for 30 days, after which the data is permanently deleted.
Before deleting, you type the exact studio name and can give a reason.
Cancelling the closure
For 30 days, a banner at the top of the section shows the deletion date and a “Cancel the closure” button, which restores the studio without losing any data.
A test studio is deleted right away, without a closing period: Test studio.
