Test studio
A separate studio for trying Flyp from the client’s side, with pretend payments. It doesn’t use up your studio’s limits.
Want to see a booking with an advance payment, a gallery with a surcharge or a voucher purchase through your client’s eyes, without real money? Create a test studio.
How to create one
In Settings → Your studios, click “Create test studio”. A studio owner can do this, and each account gets one test studio. The test studio gets a copy of your profile and branding, session types with packages, working hours, payment schedules, terms and voucher settings, but no clients, sessions, galleries or payments. Its name gets the suffix “(test)”.
You switch between studios in the side menu, above the list of modules.
How it differs from a real studio
- Payments are simulated: instead of a payment provider, the client sees a test page with the “Pay (test)”, “Decline payment” and “Cancel and go back” buttons.
- Emails to clients go only to you, with “[TEST]” in the subject. Client reminders, text messages and review requests aren’t sent.
- You can’t connect Stripe, PayU, invoicing or an InPost account, and you can’t buy a plan. The test studio runs on the Free plan with its own limits.
- Studio pages are marked as a test and aren’t indexed by search engines.
Deleting
“Delete test studio” deletes it right away, together with its data, without the 30-day grace period. A real studio can’t become a test studio, and the other way round.
