Your own payment provider and PayU
On the Pro and Studio plans you can connect your own Stripe, Przelewy24, PayU, Tpay, Revolut or PayPal account. On any plan you can register with PayU through Flyp.
Both options are in Settings → Payments and payouts, next to Stripe Connect.
Your own payment provider
On the commission-free plans (Pro and Studio) you can connect your own account with a payment provider instead of Stripe Connect. Flyp then starts payments with your API keys, and the money doesn’t pass through Flyp. On the Free and Starter plans the section has a “From the Pro plan” badge and a “See plans” button.
- Click “Add account”.
- Choose the provider (Stripe, Przelewy24, PayU, Tpay, Revolut or PayPal) and the currency. Not every provider supports every currency; Tpay, for example, only supports Polish złoty.
- Paste the API keys from the provider’s dashboard (Przelewy24 and PayU, for example, also need a merchant ID) and click “Check and save”. Flyp tests the keys first; if the test fails, nothing is saved.
You can have several accounts in one currency; you mark one as the default (“Set as default”). If the client has several options, they choose when paying. “Test” checks whether the keys work. Only the studio owner enters, tests and removes keys; the team sees the list of accounts without the keys. Removing an account doesn’t delete the payment history.
If you move to a plan with a commission, the accounts stay but are “Paused by plan”. The keys aren’t deleted, so when you return to Pro or Studio the accounts switch back on by themselves.
PayU Marketplace
On any plan you can open a PayU payment account through Flyp: the “Connect with PayU” button opens Registration in PayU Marketplace, where you enter your business details and address. PayU usually reviews the application within 1 to 2 business days; you can check the status with the “Refresh” button.
