Add-on products: albums, prints and InPost shipping
Sell albums, prints and extra retouching to your clients. Clients order in the gallery or in the client portal, and you ship to an InPost Paczkomat® 24/7, by courier or hand the order over in person.
You set up add-on products in Settings → Add-on products. Your role needs the products permission. Flyp takes no commission on product sales.
New product
Click “New product” and choose the kind:
- Physical product: an album, prints, a USB stick; usually shipped,
- Digital product: files or extra retouching, no shipping.
You enter a name, description, gross price per item (without delivery) and a product photo (JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB). In “Availability” you decide whether the product is offered in all session types or only in selected ones. The “Visible to clients” switch hides the product without deleting it.
Mark a product made for a specific client, such as an album of their photos, with “Made to the client’s specification” and enter the “Fulfilment time (days)”. Such a product can’t be returned within 14 days, and the shop asks the client to confirm they understand this. More: Consumer rights for purchases from your studio.
Delivery and payment
On the “Delivery and payment” card you turn on delivery methods and set their cost (0 means free delivery):
- InPost Paczkomat® 24/7: the client picks a point on the official InPost map; it can be a Paczkomat® or a PaczkoPunkt,
- InPost Courier: only to addresses in Poland,
- In-person pickup: free, with information about where to collect.
The client pays online through the studio’s payment account or chooses “Payment arranged with the studio”, if you leave that option on.
InPost ShipX account (optional)
If you have a contract with InPost, connect your account in the same section: the ShipX API token and organisation number, then “Check connection” and “Connect account”. You can then create the shipment and label with one click, under your own contract. Without an account, you enter the tracking number by hand.
Where clients order
In the gallery (the “Add-ons” button) and in the client portal, on the session’s “Add-ons” tab. In the session details, on the “Add-ons” tab, you can add or hide a product for that one session only.
Fulfilling an order
Orders are in Payments, on the “Orders” tab. The steps are “Start fulfilment”, “Mark as shipped” (with a tracking number; the client gets an email with a tracking link) and “Mark as completed”. For an album, the “Choose photos” button shows which photos the client picked and in what order.
“Cancel order” doesn’t refund the money automatically: you make the refund in the payment details.
