How to set up a studio in Flyp
The wizard walks you through eight steps: from your studio name and country, through your offer, to choosing a plan.
After you sign up, you land in the studio setup wizard. If you don’t belong to any studio yet, you first see a welcome screen: “Let’s start” creates a new studio, and “I have an invitation” lets you join someone else’s team with an invite code.
Step by step
- Studio. You enter the studio name and its address in Flyp (e.g. “flyp.pl/s/your-studio”; we suggest one based on the name, but you can change it). You choose your billing country, which sets the currency you bill your clients in (you can’t change this currency later), and optionally your website address. Flyp isn’t available in a few countries (the list is in the FAQ on the pricing page), and the wizard won’t let you continue with them.
- Branding. You upload a logo (PNG, SVG, JPG or WEBP, up to 5 MB) and pick the colour your clients will see. You can change both later in Branding.
- Work locations. You mark whether you have your own studio, rent one or have no studio, and whether you shoot outdoors or at the client’s place. Choosing a session location uses this later.
- Specialities. You pick ready-made session types (e.g. wedding, engagement, portrait) or add your own. You can complete them anytime in Session types.
- Packages. You add priced packages to your session types. The wizard suggests a basic package where you enter the price. A package isn’t required, but a session type without one won’t appear on the online booking page.
- Plan. You choose a plan (Free or paid), monthly or yearly billing (a year costs the same as ten months) and your business form: “Private individual (no business)”, “Sole proprietorship” or “Company”. A sole proprietorship and a company need a tax ID (NIP).
- Summary. You review your settings and, on a paid plan, can enter a promo code. On the Free plan, “Create the studio” creates it right away, and “Go to payment” opens an embedded Stripe form.
- Done. Your studio exists and you enter the panel. What next: Start here: your first 30 minutes in Flyp.
Filling in with AI
When AI filling is available in Flyp, a “How do you want to fill in your studio?” step appears after the “Studio” step, and the wizard has nine steps:
- Automatically with AI. You enter your website address (the one from the first step is already filled in), optionally your social media profiles and your own materials, such as a price list or a contract, tick the consent box and click “Fill it in for me”. After a moment you see what AI found. “Apply and continue” carries the suggestion into the next steps, and every suggested field has an “AI” badge with a cross that restores the previous value.
- Manually. You fill in the next steps yourself.
AI doesn’t overwrite what you entered in the first step: the name, studio address, country and website. If it suggests something different, you see it under the field with a “Use” button. You can continue without waiting for the result. Each account gets 3 fills per day; after that, the manual path remains. Nothing is saved in the studio before it is created.
Important rules
- Each account gets one free studio; any further studio needs a paid plan.
- Already have a studio and got an invite code to another one? Enter it in Settings → Your studios.
- If something interrupts the process after you pay for a plan (a closed tab, a lost connection), go back to the wizard in the same browser: it finishes the setup once it recognises the paid studio.
- Your studio address is checked as you type: “Address available” or “This address is already taken”. You can change it in Studio profile once every six months, and the old address becomes a redirect.
