Importing photos from Adobe Lightroom
Connect Lightroom once, then import selected photos from your albums into a session, filtered by stars and colour labels.
Importing from Lightroom works on every plan. You connect your account in Settings → All integrations (“Adobe Lightroom”) or on your first import with the “Connect to Adobe Lightroom” button.
Step-by-step import
- Open the session, go to the “Photos” tab, click “Add photos” and choose “Import from Lightroom”.
- Choose an album. You can filter photos by minimum rating and colour label, and sort them by date, name or rating.
- Select the photos and click “Import”.
The import runs in the background, so you can close the tab. The progress bar shows when the photos are in the session and lets you try again if something fails. A photo that has already been imported has an “Imported” badge, so you won’t add it twice by mistake.
The list of Lightroom photos is kept for a few minutes. If a rating you just changed doesn’t show yet, refresh the list.
Replacing edited photos
After editing, you don’t have to import everything again. In the “Add photos” menu, choose “Replace edited photos” and upload the files: they replace photos with the same name (without the extension), and the client’s selection and galleries stay unchanged.
Flyp converts RAW files to JPEG, so keep your original RAW files in your own archive.
